Remember, in November 2016 when Trump was elected, a CIA agent was extracted from the Kremlin who has working ties ties to Putin.

Also in February 2017, Trump told a visiting Russian envoy about what the CIA knew about Syria, and in May 2017, the day after Trump fired Comey, Trump met with Russians again with no American press present and discuss Israeli intelligence with them.
