Very nice that he likes you. It takes a while to learn the routine in a new home. Be patient. I have to keep my intact male lab separated from our giant neutered mastiff. The big guy just hassles the intact male constantly if they are together. It's a pain in the ass, and the female lab pup not in with the male is getting a lot more socialized than her sister. The point is, they get a lot more socialized if they can spend a lot of time with you or with other older dogs.
