I really like Buttigieg and Klobuchar. Neither have gained traction, though. I'm a moderate-progressive. I truly understand why lib-Dem voters see them as too moderate, though. I'm still a fan of a Warren-Buttigieg, Klobuchar, or Harris ticket. Warren is very clear-eyed about her goal Ann's has incredible energy. Any of those running mates would make a fantastic team.

Here's the interview I referenced earlier for those of you who don't have HBO.

For the record, I don't have cable. I haven't had cable since 2011. HBO has been a stand-alone product since 2015. smile

Bill Barr meets with Rupert Murdoch. Afterwards, Fox News' strongest Trump critic, Shepard Smith, is out two days later after a 26 year career at Fox.

Coincidence? I think not! mad

Our last dog was Phoebe

I have a one year old female Yellow Lab. Very sweet and affectionate. She's just learned her mother's trick of standing with her front paws on the washing machine so she can get some hugs. Her AKC name is Seraphina. We call her Phoebe.

Roscoe has a laundry room game he likes to play too. He loves rubbing his face in clean laundry. Maybe he thinks getting dragged out of them is like a hug...

Interesting story on Huffpost: The author's premise is that making it harder for rich untalented kids to fail is at least as bad as keeping poor but talented kids down.

Rich Idiots

Quote
dozens of studies have estimated the negative effects of failing to tap into the talents of low-income students. Far fewer, however, have considered the drag on the gross domestic product caused by unintelligent CEOs and Ivy League HR staffers hiring people just like themselves.

You can kill any chance of getting a top law firm interview just by listing the "wrong" sort of interests and hobbies. And the sad thing is that a rich kid's real interests may be hookers and blow, but he lists polo and sailing.

I'm kinda thinking that while real actual polo and sailing do exist, listing them is like listing "long walks on the beach" or "ask me later".

I actually like recreational sailing, but all the sailing I have done is "poor man's sailing" in 14 and 16 foot catamarans mostly. My ex-wife had a job as a sailmaker.

Next time you dry some towels, wrap a fresh from the dryer towel around you and ... Sweet...Cozy...HEAVEN......

Works best if it is a little chilly with short sleves.
