Amazing how easy it is to screw things up just by changing the tax rates and inheritance laws. Maybe we can start fixing that come 2021.

Donald J Trump: A legal inquiry = “A witch hunt!” Constitutional oversight = “A lynching!” No politician in history — and I say this with great surety — has been treated worse or more unfairly.

Trump Re-election Campaign won't pay invoices to various municipalities for security for his Klan Rallies. Fine. Either don't provide security for Trump in the first place or demand payment upfront prior to Trump's arrival.

Wall Street Journal: Trump too incompetent to impeach. Leave it to conservatives to excuse incompetent behavior. Non-subscription summary here.

Even if he is incompetent, you get him lying under oath and he's guilty of perjury. The penalty for that may be prison, or he may plead insanity and the penalty is involuntary commitment. Judges do not take kindly to lying in court.
And Trump thinks he's packed the courts with "his guys". But what he's done is packed the courts with conservative judges nominated by The Federalist Society. They tend to be the strictest when people bring BS legal theories to court and then lie about them.

They tend to be the strictest when people bring BS legal theories to court and then lie about them. Um...unless those people are fellow conservatives, then they get a pass. Trump isn't actually a conservative though is he, and he's not known to take chances or leave bases uncovered. Comrade Vlad still controls his KGB forces though and they are pretty good at digging up dirt, they are good at making threats too, and making payoffs into foriegn accounts. Whoever aint bought is blackmailed. The Republican FBI and the Justice for Republicans Department will bring anyone down who crosses Trump. In 2024 Jared Kusher will be appointed President for life by the aging Donald Trump.... Brutalist architecture, secondhand track suits, and soylent green cabbages. Grown in soil enriched by Americans.

unless those people are fellow conservatives, then they get a pass If that's true, then how come the Trump administration keeps on losing every time it takes a silly case to court, even before "Trump" judges. I'm not saying Trump has not appointed "Trump Judges", because he has. But WAY fewer than he thinks.

then how come the Trump administration keeps on losing every time it takes a silly case to court Because he's not a real conservative and he's a political neophyte. He(and his lawyers) are completely out of their league, they tend to couch their demands of the court in executive privilege and presidential powers. If they want to impress conservative judges they need to find constitutional defenses, whether they make any sense or not doesn't matter as long as they quote some random passage in the constitution that seems to support their case. Judges will lap it up every time.

He(and his lawyers) are completely out of their league... Exactly. Trump ran on the idea of being an experienced businessman and very successful deal-maker. Sadly, however, Trump it turns out, has become known as a pathological liar, and his skills at negotiating have turned out to be a complete and utter lie. Trump has been no match for the seasoned politicos in Washington DC.
