Tonight on PBS Newshour, syndicated columnist Mark Shields and New York Times columnist David Brooks joined Judy Woodruff to discuss the Kentucky Governor's race, one topic of several other topics.

What they mentioned about the Kentucky race is something I had not considered.

They stated that the winner, Andy Beshear ran on guaranteeing the Affordable Care Act with the expansion of Medicaid/Medicare for all - and this won in a red state.
