Welp, on the surface, it appears that WV Dem primary voters went for Bern in 2016 because of health care? But this paragraph from your link suggests otherwise:

My take-away is that 39% of the votes for Bernie were disingenuous and was setting-up the Dems for failure against Donald Trump who these 39% really wanted to be President - these 39% were gaming the system by fake-voting for Bernie and hoping to choose the Dem in the general to run against Trump. Typical of rightwing shenanigans if you ask me.
