Though my thoughts about Trump were slightly different, the gist of it is the same. I'm pretty sure he hates being president, never wanted to be president and doesn't want to run again but will.
He's a showman and the show must go on.
His ratings were good enough to keep him on the air, but not good enough to get him four more years.
