Prosecutors even say they have evidence their daughters participated in the scam, so they could be charged as well! Lori says her husband wants to go for "innocent by trial", because a guilty plea "would ruin their careers". I don't think he understands how American Justice works. Maybe Italian trials are more of a popularity contest, but he should pay attention to Bill Cosby's trial: Hugely popular, and yet sent to prison. They are now facing 50 year sentences if found guilty!

Huffman only got 11 days, but her bribe was only $15,000. Loughlin & Gianulli paid $500,000 and had their daughters pose for photos on rowing machines.

I don't think Lori Laughlin understands the justice system either.
