RCP averages out the most recent 5 or 6 or more polls. They don't rely on a single poll as every once in a long while, a poll certainly can be skewed. Most of these polls are of registered voters, although some are of all adults. All adult type polls will give you a fairly accurate indication where all Americans stand. In this case impeachment and removal. But aren't very accurate for election predictions as we all know approximately 45% of all adults don't vote.

Registered voters are a bit more accurate for elections, less accurate for the country as a whole as to feelings. Likely voters are the best for elections.

It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.
