I have a little doll I made with a long red ribbon for a tie. Old straw for hair, painted yellow, and a dawb of orange for a face. I occasionally prod at it with a needle. Next Samhain I'll sacrifice a rooster and burn them together in a bone fire. It's darker magick than I usually dabble in but really not much different from "thoughts and prayers".
