I personally believe that a hypocritical demagogue such as Senator Craig deserves ever bit of denigration and humiliation he gets.

I still hope the ACLU loses the case because Senator Craig already made his plea, but I have to admit I admire them for making the government prove its case.

Exactly - given all that Senator Craig has said against the ACLU. The ACLU isn't really interested in Craig per se, it's the "bigger picture" they will be addressing.
