You Ranters do know that the ACLU is going to bat for him... Which does square with their tradition of defending those whom no one else will (unless you have as much money as OJ). I personally believe that a hypocritical demagogue such as Senator Craig deserves ever bit of denigration and humiliation he gets. But then, perhaps that means he is exactly the person I should want the ACLU to defend (card-carrying member that I am), since I do not want justice to depend on anyone’s popularity, whether with the Loyal Bushies of the Conservative movement or Liberals such as myself. I still hope the ACLU loses the case because Senator Craig already made his plea, but I have to admit I admire them for making the government prove its case.

ACLU... Now that makes for interesting bed partners!! Exactly - given all that Senator Craig has said against the ACLU. The ACLU isn't really interested in Craig per se, it's the "bigger picture" they will be addressing. Once can "cruise" for sex in a bathroom and be protected by "free speech" - it's just that one can't actually act upon the agreement in a public bathroom. What's a horny sexagenarian to do when the layover is only two hours? There's no time to rent a room. Perhaps Senator Craig was simply looking to exchange numbers for a later time once he made a "catch."

For some reason...probably due to over coverage...I kept hearing this song in my head to the tune of "Macho, Macho Man", but it goes...
Wide stance, wide stance man... I wanna be your wide stance man.
Meet you in the can Look for my open hand.
Doin' it in the can I wanna be a wide stance man.
I'm a Congress man no one will touch us, butt you can.
Wide stance, wide stance man, if you like me, that's how I stand.
Okay, I'll leave the rest out...and about...

Good for the ACLU.
Craig is a nice, confused person, who hides too much for his own mental health. If he was honest with himself, his family, his constituancy, and his country.

**Off Topic**Before the 'hip-hop' crowd starting wearing earrings and their baseball caps backwards... In the 70s and 80s, an earring in a male's left ear usually meant he was gay; wearing the baseball cap backwards (...as with a baseball catcher - meant that you were a 'catcher' in the gay world - read: bottom). When I mention this history to the 20-somethings - they get all freaked out when I ask to 'em: Is there something you'd like to tell me? ![[Linked Image from i48.photobucket.com]](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f228/ca_rickf/Smilies/icon_evil.gif)

And there was something going on with handkerchiefs in pockets... and visible key chains, I never got it.... can you clue me in now that it is irrelevant?

Ardy, each color of handkercheif has a specific sexual activity associated with it. Right pocket handkerchief or keys is receiver, left giver, if you catch my drift. Here is an explanation of what each means hanky codesLately i feel like a tourguide
