How did all the small businesses down South feel when all those Yankees came flocking down there and running roughshod over them?

Look, if business wants to chase the race to the bottom to all four corners of the Earth, let them, but they don't deserve a break on the expense of doing so courtesy of the US taxpayer.
And that's exactly what we have been doing for the last forty years.
We have been UNDERWRITING the very things that take our jobs away, our stability, our security, our upward mobility.

If XYZ Corp is pissed off that they're paying too much in taxes and worker wages and benefits somewhere, and they want to fire all their people, pack up and move down South, then THEY have to pay for it.
And they can pay again when the people down South get sick and tired of being treated like chattel, and start demanding proper pay and benefits. And then they can pay again, and again, and again.

I've had it with this inverted socialism for rich corporations who don't want to compensate labor.
I've had it because it really isn't "inverted socialism", because when one inverts socialism to tilt in favor of John W. Ceo-guy and his corporation, it's not socialism at all.

But more importantly, it is not CAPITALISM either, it's cronyism, it's corruption, it's gangsterism.
And it's a pretty crappy deal for Joe SixPack, who also has to pay his taxes while his company gets the tax breaks.

The so called break Joe SixPack got has been proven to be a big fat sick joke, which everyone with a lick of sense warned about.
But NO-O-O-O-O, Trumpers didn't listen.

We've been doing this Ayn Rand Race to the Bottom for forty plus years now.
It's a crappy deal, it was always was a crappy deal and it is getting crappier all the time.
