History is not going to look favorably on the Trump Era of the United States. It's just not.
While I agree with you, I wonder if history is going to look back at our current political era in a bad light because of the divisiveness, the polarization and ultra high partisanship or will it be because of the impeachment of Trump?
We're as much divided ideological wise in our current era of politics as we were just prior to the civil war geographically wise. I started following politics back in 1956 watching the Democratic and Republican conventions on TV, I have never seen so much hate directed from each party at the other. I never seen each party refuse to cooperate with the other like today.
How historians, history looks back at our current era probably will be decided by which side comes out on top. Which side writes the history of our current political era.
It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.
