We are lost ... the ideas of the Founders are nothing more than words written in smoke only to vanish with time Buck up, lad! We've just hit a rough spot in the road. At worst it could take a couple of centuries to get it sorted but I'm betting on a Democratic takeover in November. And if you'll recall I was betting on Warren a little while back too. So there's that. This time around there may not be any historians to write the histories. If the Christians get their way that's what's gonna happen. An "end of the world" cult with it's hands on the nuclear arsenal is where we're headed. Think about it...and if you're praying it doesn't happen, you're part of the problem.

That wasn't sociologists... It was definitely my Sociology professor at CSUN who said that, that's where I heard it. He also said that computers would replace jobs - and damn if computers haven't.

We're destroying ourselves from within much like the old Roman Empire did. Their decay came from within, our decay is happening in giant leaps. Yep: The Roman Empire was doing fine until they became a Christian Theocracy. They went down the crapper after that. Hundreds of years of murder, slavery, conquest, buggery, incest, sodomy, and just about every sin imaginable. Laughing all the way to the Colosseum. Then they start converting and the next thing you know there are barbarians sacking Rome. Is this our fate when the Christian Ayatollahs take over?

I am more than a bit baffled why Starr thought he should investigate and prosecute sex in the WH and not investigate and prosecute WH criminal activities of violating FEC law and Constitutional separation of powers??? much less running a conspiracy involving high ranking members of the government to implement those violations.
