‘Vote against the president and your head will be on a pike.'

I 'magine it rankles some Senators to be put into such a position by that assh*le. But there's nothing they can do. Most of 'em are laughing their asses off because, once again, they're gonna own the libs.

They plan to do it again in November.

Nobody ever expected a conviction.

Doesn't mean the libs gets less owned. Owned is owned.

I just saw that Trump's rating have gone up. Republicans are eating this up! It's like the circus came to town! And the Democrats are the clowns.

This must be very satisfying for you.

I think the ratings will actually sink after the trial. Then all the Republicans have to live with "rigged trial" of a clearly guilty President as well as each new thing to come out. By November that will be a crushing load. The Supreme Court will have ruled on the subpoenas and the tax returns. I heard a rumor the Chinese had hacked his tax returns and he is into the Russians for millions of dollars. We shall see.

You never change things by fighting the existing reality.
To change something, build a new model that makes the old model obsolete.

According to a new Fox News poll released on today SU 01/26/20, on impeachment, by a 50-44 percent margin, voters think the Senate should vote to convict Trump and remove him from office. Most Democrats say remove (81 percent) and most Republicans disagree (84 percent). Among independents, more say Trump should be removed by a 19-point margin (53-34 percent).

It's shocking that so many decent American can't stand Trump and want him gone! laugh No it isn't. smile

I always go by RCP averages whenever possible. RCP takes the average of all the most recent polls. You do get a skewed poll every once in a while. Averaging them together balances everything out.

The reason I brought this up is I noticed the huge difference in independents vs. the rest of the polls. Something seems wrong with FOX as they're really out there in left field. But who knows, polling isn't an exact science although when considering the margin of error each poll has built into it, most stay within that margin.

It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.
