We don't seem to be able to count on the people we elected to do the will of the people, the majority in fact. Every poll repeats the same piece of information, a majority of Americans want to see and hear from witnesses and to hear testimony and to see evidence presented.

And, at issue, is the fact that we might not even be able to count on the sanctity of our elections to boot, not even at the most basic level, not at any level at all, in fact...if we lose this case.
So, no biggie, I guess.

A decision like this will inform and direct all such similar cases at all lower levels, over time.
