It saddens me because his sexual orientation should not even be an issue, especially after almost four years of the Pussy Grabber.
Maybe the entire USA isn't ready for a gay POTUS but I'd bet the larger portion IS ready, I'd agree.

What worries me however, is the indisputable fact that much of the rest of the world is NOT ready.

Pete being gay shouldn't be an issue in the USA, and it wouldn't be an issue in the EU, or even in Canada or Mexico either.
It WILL however, be an issue in the entire Middle East, so much so that I fear the risk of him being assassinated if he travels there.
I also don't hold out much hope for much for Russia, Africa or Latin America either.
We may be ready for a gay president (well, at least the larger part of "we" anyway) but I'm afraid much of the world is decidedly not ready.

And that would seriously handicap "President Pete" in the foreign policy arena.
