I was sharing with an acquaintance my favorite Ronald Reagan story:

When Reagan was Governor of California, some Black Panthers were open carrying assault rifles around Sack o' tomatoes (Sacramento). Low-and-behold, assault rifles were banned in California.

Now, suppose the African American community did America a solid and starting open carrying assault rifles on the daily. How soon would the good ol' white patriarchs in red states ban assault rifles?
