Went back to the cabin today, mostly for an outing but also to see if the 12 year old linseed oil with Japan drier I put on two weeks ago actually cured out. It did, so I brushed a coat on several more courses of logs and did some foam backing in readying for the inside chinking. The aspen trees I transplanted from suckers brought from Idaho ten years ago are 20 feet tall and getting their spring leaves - very pretty - and a dozen new suckers are growing. It will be a wonderful grove in a few more years.
Came home and fixed some pulled pork tacos and Mother's Day Mojitos to eat on the front porch. Nice little thunderstorm and rain going on right now. Smells good!
