I spend up to two hours writing them. Hiya, Hal! I sometimes spend two hours writing a single paragraph. After a while I forget what I was writing about and wander off... You'll have about 8-9 readers here but it's a good place to come get things off your chest.

Steve King (R-IA) was primaried last night. I'm sure that racist pig did NAZI that coming. It's about time the Republican swamp gets drained. MoscowMItch, Susan Collins, Miss Lindsey - you all are next.

The funny thing about King is that he barely won over the Democrat last election. Iowa (and other) Republicans could see the flaming handwriting on the wall (as in “Mene, Mene, Tekel u-Pharsin”). So they backed a non-KKK candidate instead. Who might actually beat the Democratic candidate!
But I guess reasonable Republican candidates are better than a burning poop-sack on your front porch like King.

Bet Tuk-Sun was a hot one today! 107 at the airport yesterday and today. It was 111 where I am. Not too bad.
