In a May 2018 interview with Charlamagne tha God, West said if he were to run his platform would be "the Trump campaign and maybe the Bernie Sanders principles. That would be my mix."

It's too late for him to file as an Independent. Is he really running as a Republican ... since McConnell canceled the Republican primary?
What the heck would a Trump campaign with Sander's principles even look like and who would it appeal to? So far Kim and Elon Musk have offered their support, but they're not representative of the American people.
Fox's Piro suggested Trump offer Kanye a job in the WH to persuade him not to run ... Poopah of Race Relations or something. But it looks like Trump and Kanye broke up, maybe over Black Lives Matter.
