True, but there is a huge coattails effect in Presidential elections. If Trump loses badly, it will take many of his Republican congressional supporters down with him. With congress and the Presidency, Democrats can actually pass laws to bring the Voting Rights Act back in a way the Supreme Court can't overturn, fix gerrymandering, enact a national ex-felon voting rights bill that negates the Florida fiasco, etc. We already have medical abortion pills by mail now in all 50 states, so the abortion issue is pretty much dead. Single-payer should have very wide support.
I think the demographic changes in America are going to be unleashed in 2021. Much thanks to Trump's excesses.
