If you are a "Decent American" then wage war against the United States, for what ever reason, are you still a "Decent American"? You are sure not a law-abiding American.

I've never met a decent Right-winger. So let's just start there.

There seems to be a real problem within the group that rioted and stole from the congressional building. I found it pretty amazing. There is the guy who stole Pelosi's reading stand and then posed for a photo holding said item on his way out with a great big smile on his face. There are several things like this. These criminal jackasses have got to be the worst thieves out there! When one is in the process of committing a crime its simply not a bright thing to do when you show yourselves with the ill gotten gains smiling and posing for a photo.

My own thought is that these idiots had no idea they were breaking any laws or a walking two-by-fours and should be put someplace for their own safety. When they say "proud boys" they must REALLY mean it. Its kinda like holding up a 711 whilst smiling at the camera to make sure they know who you are. Its just flat out very strange. Its as if somebody told these guys to make sure to get their pictures taken if they are going to break any laws so we all know who and what they are?

Oh, now they are apparently telling everybody their new plans, the fact that next time they will be armed, what their plans to shoot are, etc. Its as if the first time around they were just not too good and, this next time, they are going to fix that by telling everybody their plans and then maybe they can all be arrested? My own hope is that gov will provide cameras EVERYWHERE, thereby making sure we can watch them indulge in crime whilst making sure that they are all recorded whilst at it.

Me wife's auld Da died today at the ripe age of 97. No condolences, please, he was a cold bastid who's last words to her who had taken responsibility for him during his last pitiful eight years were, "Go home!", followed 30 minutes later when she announced she'd be leaving, with, "Good!"

The news is that his carcass is to be the inaugural "conservation burial" at our co-op farm. He won't be interred six feet under, as that is not conducive to re-assimiliation into the soil ecosystem via microbes and bugs and bacteria and fungi. It has been projected, according to our regeneration business plan, that in a couple of years he will be living happily in grasses and trees and assorted microbiology as the goddess Gaia (not his false Christian God) intends for all her children, aberrant in life, or not. Ergo, no marker will stand over the hole he will be buried in, since he won't be in that particular location for long.

The FBI has 170 cases open now, charging insurrectionists with Sedition and Conspiracy. So quite a few of them are not going to make it to their planned later events! There is a massive effort to identify all the rest, so they can be charged. A number of Capital Police have been suspended while under investigation. They could be charged as well.

These are not minor crimes with probation sentences. They are 20 years in Levenworth-type crimes. They can enhance that with the Conspiracy charge.

I see that McTurtle has figured out the only thing that can save his party is to impeach & convict Trump. Would have worked better last time, but better late than never. Lots of people are calling for expulsion of Hawley and Cruz, so it looks like hitching your wagon on to Trump may not work out so well.

It will be fun to see how many Republicans in the House vote to impeach, now they know the Senate will probably convict. We ought to be able to make some kind of drinking game out of that. How quick the wind shifts!

One thing I am curious about: When Ginni Thomas gets sent to prison for sedition, will her husband resign from the Supreme Court and do his best to disappear?
