My wife an I are getting our first shots on Valentine's day, better presents than flowers and candy! I would have preferred Groundhog's day, but now every day is pretty much Groundhog's day, except for special occasions, like this Thursday, that breaks the tedious routine by being trash/recycling day! It's a double batch since we didn't even generate enough to make a trip to the curb meaningful last week.
Got a foot or so of snow, but that's no biggie here.
I have to look up the Golden Snowball contest standings, a contest every year between Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse to see who got the most snow. Buffalo beat us last year, but we kept through trophy here a d they are pissed! Take that Buffalo! Probably just another Covid related tragedy!
Stay bored!

I'm kind of curious: Do you still have to shovel snow in front of your house, if nobody is allowed to go out?
As a Southern California guy, my year in Indiana included some interesting local experiences like shoveling and salting the sidewalk, and hiding in the basement when tornados came through town.

I remember when my wife's college roommate (Case Western Reserve) came out to San Diego and went to look at a house somebody was thinking to rent. She looked up the steep driveway and asked: "How would you ever get up that during the winter?" We all had a good laugh. She never moved back to Toledo.

No now shovel these days. Although as a Drill Sergeant at Ft. Leonard Wood, yes had one there. Also when I worked at LBAD, Lexington Bluegrass Army Depot. Ice is the big problem here, not so much the snow. although everything closes when either one occurs.

It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

I was sergeant major in the ROTC precision drill team and the counterinsurgency force, who's mission was to harras the upperclassmen in training exercises! Only a clerical error, related to dropping a failing 5 credit calculus course, due to the distractions of sex, drugs, and rock and roll, saved me from touring Vietnam!
It's not an object lesson you tell the kids as they are heading off to college. They will figure it out for themselves anyway!
BTW, we took first prize in the multi-state competition, and I remember nothing after that!

Nobody in the suburbs have sidewalks, that's why we pay more taxes than in the city. We are 400 ft outside of the city, and great public schools, that I am proud to pay, as many paid to educate my kids. It's called being in the community to foster the next generation, even if you have to pay more than moving out of the expensive school district.
And, I would have to clean out the basement to leave, if alive! Wife claims that plan A is to die first and leave clean out to her and kids. She knows me pretty well after 49 years. Better put that 50th anniversary on my calendar, but she won't kill me if the basement is a problem. You see my conflicted re cleaning!

Uh...oh spaghetti-ohs!!! Kyle is missing.

Be on the lookout for an 18 year old nutter with an AR-15 and a penchant for killing Liberals. Hmm

No problemo, he's probably in Mexico with that Jan 6 Perp that asked the judge for permission to go to Mexico for a "four day" bail exemption Holliday!

Her plan is probably to burn the place down as she departs for Florida after you go. That way nobody gets stuck cleaning all your junk out.
