I'm kind of curious: Do you still have to shovel snow in front of your house, if nobody is allowed to go out? As a Southern California guy, my year in Indiana included some interesting local experiences like shoveling and salting the sidewalk, and hiding in the basement when tornados came through town.
I remember when my wife's college roommate (Case Western Reserve) came out to San Diego and went to look at a house somebody was thinking to rent. She looked up the steep driveway and asked: "How would you ever get up that during the winter?" We all had a good laugh. She never moved back to Toledo.
