My wife is a native of LaCrosse in very Western, Wisconsin, too darn close to Minnesota lutefisk eaters right across the mighty Mississip, and their accents call umbrellas, UUMMbrellas. Im from the much more cultured and radical Madison!
My SIL lives in Southern Wisconsin that suffers from the same kind of invasion from those troublesome southern states, particularly Illinois mostly from Chicago. They refer to them as FIBS, short for Fvcking Illinois Basturds! Is there a local term for Wisconsin invaders? TAT

Milwaukee, myself. But I left before age 1. My wife and I both have family in Chicago. Her father did his residency at Cook County, then moved back to Hawaii to practice. My dad's whole family was born in Chicago, then he moved to LA to teach at USC.

I see North Korea is accused of trying to hack Pfizer servers to get vaccine information. Totally unnecessary, since they are getting a few million of AstraZeneca's doses. Not to mention AZ's non-profit approach is setting up manufacturing in multiple countries around the world: Basically in any country that could actually produce the vaccine.
I bet AZ would give them easy-to-follow instructions and starter cultures for free, if they just asked nicely. If they can ferment kimchee, I bet they could grow the needed adenovirus.

Where’s the fun in that? Besides, when you have a spy organization you sort of feel duty bound to use it. Else why are you paying for it?

My wife is a native of LaCrosse in very Western, Wisconsin, ... My youngest daughter and her husband live out there, in Dodge WI. Challenge anybody to find the town/village/small wide spot in the road/etc on the map, hint it is north of LaCrosse. Anyway, sometime in my life, I must have pissed on the political gods. Both my daughters, they bleed blue, married Republicans...

Hi Shurly, I have been within 14.7 miles from Dodge many time as all of wife's relatives are buried in Gallesville, and her Grandparents lived in Gallesville forever, untill they moved to permanent location! There is a lot of Blue out there, but maybe your daughters politics are less related to previous yellow offerings to the gods,it might be a new mutation! Does her mother have any recessive blue genes, from parents? My wife's father offered her a car if she would go to UW Lacrosse in late 60s rather than go down to Sin City (Madison) where he went to school and remembered. She figured if he was offering a car to prevent it it must be worth a try, even if she had to rub "elbows" with pinko, commie, hippie, out of state aggiTATors! He got used to it, after my parents bribed us with a car to get married, instead of living together! TAT

Not much in Lynn but the Lynn Dairy. I have spent some time in Antigo, and it was damn cold. It was a good place to practice using firearms, not much important you could accidentally hit. Sign marksmanship is not accidental.
