I’m sure Texas will push back on receiving emergency aid and assistance from the federal government. Being upstanding, self-reliant individualists, they would be embarrassed to the point of becoming physically ill if we tried to force a handout on them. The rest of the country should spare them and just seal the border until they’ve had a chance to figure it all out.

Even thoughts and prayers might be too much for their delicate sensibilities. So, we can skip those as well.
