I'm not sure if this interview will be a part of regular 60 Minutes this coming Sunday.
Nope, wasn't on 60 Minutes tonight. However, featured was an article on fluoxamine - a drug commonly used to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder, is becoming an early treatment candidate for COVID-19 that P-I-A might find interesting.
In 2019, there was a study of antidepressant fluvoxamine showed that fluvoxamine stopped sepsis. Sepsis is the runaway immune response in which inflammation gets out of control, damages organs and can be deadly. It's believed a similar phenomenon occurs in COVID patients. In the small trail which is detailed in JAMA, 100% of the COVID patients given fluvoxamine, none of the patients symptoms worsened, none were hospitalized, and none died.
