This afternoon my Internet provider called and thanked me for my September payment.

The guy on the other end offers for me to pay in advance the OCT, NOV, DEC '07 payments.

I politely decline...

The guy on the phone then offers that I can pay the October payment now...

Again, I decline and thank him for his call.

Then I remembered reading in the newspaper recently that Earthlink is in financial trouble.
