Bob,

I ain't talking golfing weather -- ASHVILLE, Tenn. - A sellout crowd of 41,600 who braved a freezing rain and wind chill that dipped to 14 degrees watched as Virginia Tech beat Alabama, 38-7, in the inaugural American General Music City Bowl in Nashville

Bob, 14 degrees in a freezing rain?????

About Golf,

Bob, next time you or any of you other golfers get as far south as Nashville, you ought to check out the Robert Trent Golf Trail that I believe has as its northern-most course, Hampton Cove right here in Huntsville.

Huntsville is 1 1/2 hours south of Nashville.

I don't play golf. I've never been able to drive a ball off the tee; but I used to ride on the cart with my husband just to enjoy the beautiful greens. One day Mr. BamaMama made a 4-some (sounds sexy) with three guys who had driven through the night for a whole golfing weekend from "somewhar" up north. They said it was worth it because of cheaper costs and less crowding. I think that was a Lake Guntersville course.....I don't know the quality of that particular golf course --- it existed before Robert Trent Golf Trail but the scenery is picture perfect.
