So what would have been the problem with President Ahmadinejad laying a wreath at the WTC Memorial? His country and countrymen, and even his particular flavor of Islam, had absolutely nothing to do with the attack by Al Queda. In fact, he was probably just trying to point out that Iran has always been deadly enemies of Al Queda.
(Now if a Saudi Prince had tried it, I can see the problem!)
This administration has tried to link secular Baathist Sadaam to Wahabi Fundamentalist Sunni Al Queda and made fools of themselves. Are they somehow now trying to link Shiite Iran with Al Queda? Do they still have any toes they have not shot off?
