Don’t know about setting the time here (I think it automatically adjusted once upon a time), but it does appear that the time is now that a judge imposed sanctions on Ghouliani, Powell (da Kraken), and Wood(enhead) for pursuing frivolous election fraud lawsuits.

That’s something, I reckon.

Okay...I fixed my time zone. You have to go into preferences and choose a time zone that corrects the UTC+3 that the forum defaults to.

Just click the drop-down and choose a zone that reflects your actual time...

Mine was USA Toronto. Yours might be USA Edmonton, Jules.

What amazes me is that they allowed these faux-attorneys to do so much damage before FINALLY moving on something they already agreed WAS damaging.

“I don’t think I...has made so many leaps,” she said. “My question to counsel here is, how could any of you as officers of the court present this type of an affidavit?”

I've no doubt I could pull up a half dozen similar remarks months earlier.
Judges recognized this insanity a long time ago, and common sense would indicate all of this amounted to spurious claims and malicious prosecution. Almost every court this cast of characters has ever been to has ruled the claims "fantastical" all along.
Is it overreach these days for a judge to brand people like this as vexatious litigants?

I dunno, I've seen such actions happen in the blink of an eye for lesser cases.
Is it because they don't dare offend the former president?
Is it because courts are failing to recognize that reality shows like Judge Judy aren't real courtroom trials?

Yes, I realize that last question borders on hyperbole, so treat it as rhetorical, sort of a "what exactly the f**** is going on here?"
Is it possible that judges are simply having a good time being entertained by this spectacle at our expense?

I learned that you also have to click "Save Changes" after selecting your timezone...

I did click “save.” Apparently what I didn’t do was log out. That boot had a kitten heel, and not enough room for that last bit, I guess.

Ahhh... I wondered why it still wasn't working for me. Loggy needs to "log out" (sounds like signing off on the CB radio!)

Oh, crap, loggy - it’s still off, unless you’ve been posting a couple of hours in the future.

You can stay logged in...?

I get logged out about every 10 minutes. It's a pain in the ass but I can work around it.

But my time zone works great. All I can say is do the arithmetic and adjust it 'til it works....

Sometimes you need to expire your cookies too....

I'll try that and see if it helps my log in issue.
