I usually get "into it" with Conservatives on Mediaite and write, pithy, snarky comments to them on Fox News.com (So I won't be banned). It's easy to be banned on a Conservative site - they're such snowflakes. coffee

Banned from:

Breitbart aka "White"Bart
Gateway Pundit
Conservative Treehouse

...because you know, Conservatives want to have serious thought-provoking discussions, because they're so open to hearing what others have to say. rolleyes

OK Mello. So indeed there are many corvid’s in this neck. Mostly crows but there are ravens too although those seem to congregate mostly on the east side of the Cascades. As well as the magpies.

It’s simply astonishing when one is walking or hiking along a trail and one stops underneath some sort of conifer tree. The crows will cackle about and unless one is not paying attention you’ll absolutely know that they are talking about you! and discussing everything and anything about you. And from what I hear they forget nothing.

Who is good to them…who is bad to them. They never forget.

So far I have not givin them any sort of chance to disparage me but it’s still quite astonishing to listen to them cackle about.

And discuss everything.

So...Brad Raffensperger wants an investigation into whether Stacy Abrams and the DOJ talked or colluded with the resulting DOJ investigation of GAs new voting laws.

...because Brad obvs thinks the laws are awesome and there's no question of how terrific they are. Hmm

It's just like a Rightwinger to think everyone is a dirty, rotten, scoundrel as they are... coffee

I still think Corvid-19 would make a great name for a goth band. They could have t-shirts with Poe's raven on them.

I've been seeing flocks of crows lately, when I go near sunset to water my garden, They gather at overnighting sites like big box store roofs, coming in near dusk from their widespread hunting and scavenging territories. Some nights I see 100 or more all flying toward some distant gathering site en masse. Not in formation: They are too much individuals to ever fly in formation. Usually a few stragglers. Interesting society.

We see a lot of turkey vultures and red-tailed hawks, too. My wife fills a big bird bath for the vultures to come and get a drink. She also feeds hummingbirds, who are hilarious. One lady is usually guarding "her" feeder, and will scold us (nearly ultrasonic!) when we walk too close or refill it.

Or they could have teeshirts with pictures of shrimp and call themselves The Poe Boys.

On my face book this morning.... you can't make this shite up....
This is where I live.

"I want to share a small victory tonight. Walking by College Square I saw some brave Health Dept. workers doing free vaccines... and one yahoo staying in his designated area screaming disinformation. The young high-school age gatekeeper saw the look in my eyes and urged "Please don't provoke an incident!" I calmly replied "I'm considering my tactics. I won't do anything that will hurt your cause." Then I walked up to the Yahoo and started... singing. The first thing I sang was the alphabet song, but it so flummoxed him I kept singing: "American Pie," "Hotel California","Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow." He was so frustrated, he kept calling me fat like that was going to make me cry. There was a police officer there, doing his job, I wish I'd caught his name. When Yahoo complained about my "getting in his face", the officer said "He's got the same first amendment rights as you do." The coup de grace was when I sang "I Will Always Love You". Dude was absolutely silent while people laughed. The most gratifying thing was the health care volunteers had a laugh on a stressful night. Which brings me to the point of this post: let's create an Athens music Secret Service, where we stand by and help health care people do their jobs by drowning out the yahoos."

Welp...looks like Gavin is staying put. Bow

The only R even close to Gavin stated yesterday that when Feinstein dies in office - he'll replace her with an R to upset the current 50-50 Senate split.

Cali having an R Senator...as if. rolleyes

How many commutes have you gotten in, Rick? I love that passage. How long is your commute? I'm thinking of helping #2 son move to Port Orchard. Data...!

A well reasoned argument is like a diamond: impervious to corruption and crystal clear - and infinitely rarer.

Here, as elsewhere, people are outraged at what feels like a rigged game -- an economy that won't respond, a democracy that won't listen, and a financial sector that holds all the cards. - Robert Reich
