I reckon I've done shrooms a hundred times or more. I've eaten them raw in the fields, gnawed sun-dried bits of nastiness, made spaghetti sauce with them, brewed them into teas and Koolaid.
They're pretty nasty, we usually boiled them up fresh into a thick purple-black tea.
Coffee with sugar hides the nasty flavor better than anything else. There's a little bit of an upset stomach at first and you get a feeling like you might get sick.
Ignore it. You won't. Have a beer and wait. Smoke a joint, put on some trippy music.
I prefer acid. It's a cleaner experience. But shrooms were free for the picking in any pasture.
