Rick, I just re-read.Your next appt is in 2025? Making up the deficit takes weeks, months at most (a detail I don’t remember from 10 years ago.) You’ll have forgotten all about it by this time next year, let alone 2025.

Didn’t mean to make it sound like a Big Deal.It isn’t.

I was referring to the money. Get your mind out of the gutter.

It's very strange: I seem to have MS, but have had zero symptoms beyond the original partial blindness that lasted just a few weeks. I have bilateral afferent neuropathy, which is supposedly not an MS symptom. But nobody knows why. My blindness was definitely in my brain instead of eyes or optic nerves, and I do have scars in my brain. But those might be from a bad car accident when I was five. I was in a coma for several days, and have amnesia to this day of anything before that. I guess that was a blessing in a way: My mother was a stay-at-home mom, but I never once even remembered her.

The neuropathy just makes my legs numb from my shins down. I have a hard time balancing, so I tend to walk like the proverbial old man, unless I am outside and have enough room to use a wide stance. Then I do fine. My wife is a bit of a hoarder, so the aisles inside keep on getting narrow. The good thing is I can hold onto the crap that is piled high enough!

Melanie pOlyve, I came up with a question for you while I was listening to my “dentist” playlist and getting my crown finished today.

I know everybody says Michael Stipe is a very very smart human being. However, if all the water around Athens is populated with cottonmouths (isn’t it) and I believe it is, why in the hell would he be going Nightswimming?

Tooth is finished; no more dentists for long time.

Mr Stipe is very brilliant. His poetry is amazing.
I don't KNOW him personally but we certainly know each other by sight. Nod hello and the usually goopy southern greetings.
He strikes me as a fellow that doesn't worry much. Just lives.
And he likes to write about provocative things.

We have a black snake that lives in our computer room closet!

Glad you're finished with the ordeal of a crown. I'm the crown queen. I had a bad car wreck 35 years ago that resulted in 5, broke my jaw too.
Now it's time to redo them.
