Perhaps. But why is this event any sadder or more tragic than any of the rest of the horrible things that happen to humans all across the globe… daily.

Perhaps. But why is this event any sadder or more tragic than any of the rest of the horrible things that happen to humans all across the globe… daily.
Serious question. I wonder the same thing (briefly) fairly often about a lot of stuff. I’ve been wondering why this young woman’s story has been grabbing my attention, and I confess I don’t know. Asking the question opens the door to a humongous psycho/philosophical universe of the human condition that we occasionally glance at uncomprehendingly, then go immediately back to sleep. Some “consciousness†gurus have said that if we humans were able wake up fully on the spot, the shock of it would kill us. “I dunno, man… maybe I’ll ask the Golden Teacher?â€

I’ve been wondering why this young woman’s story has been grabbing my attention, and I confess I don’t know. A news story gone viral. I've managed mostly to avoid the story, but can't avoid the headlines. I guess for just a moment it takes us away from our own miserable existences. Gives us pause and leads to speculation about how it could have ever have come to this... Have you met my ex...? I know exactly how it came to this. I suspect that "human remains consistent with" the boyfriend will be found. Dead by his own hand.

Serious question. True Ken. Pro'lly cuz this one is so front in center in my news feeds. Me too. Yesterday on my fb feed I watched most of the police body cam of when the police first stopped them. It was an hour and 17 minutes long. It was hard to hear and I kept forwarding it up but got the gist of it. I don't want to post it. I'm not going to speculate but it's a very odd encounter. The outcome is likely to be pretty heartbreaking.

I think this is probably the consequences of being with somebody else 24/7/365: There are a lot of such "living together in a van" or "building a house together" video channels on YouTube right now. A natural thing because of the lockdowns. But building a house together actually often leads to divorce! People need a little alone time, which is pretty hard to come by when you have to poop in the van with your SO right there every second of the day and night.
Educating anyone benefits everyone.
