Serious question.
I wonder the same thing (briefly) fairly often about a lot of stuff. I’ve been wondering why this young woman’s story has been grabbing my attention, and I confess I don’t know.

Asking the question opens the door to a humongous psycho/philosophical universe of the human condition that we occasionally glance at uncomprehendingly, then go immediately back to sleep.

Some “consciousness” gurus have said that if we humans were able wake up fully on the spot, the shock of it would kill us.

“I dunno, man… maybe I’ll ask the Golden Teacher?”
I've wondered the same thing about my same reaction. My conclusion is, that it is easier to focus on the travails of one cute and innocent human than the mass of ugliness out there. It's a poignant story, starting in such optimism and ending in such horror. But, I've been unusually affected by it. It's so sad.

When I DJ'd back in 2000-2008, I only used vinyl if I couldn't get a CD version of the song. A lot of test pressings (White Label) are vinyl only.

CD, in my opinion, is so much crisper and cleaner and you can hear every instrument and subtlety of the track in the ear phones. smile Plus the snap, crackle and pop of vinyl is annoying. eek

In 1983, War was my most favorite album ever. Listened to it all of the time. In 1985, I got the CD version of War. It was like listening to the record for the very first time. Bow

So I just re-read your linked article by Nolte. It’s fascinating in it’s twisted logic. And I thought conservatives were supposed to be the party of personal responsibility. And yet this guy Nolte is blaming someone else (libs) for the foolish inactions of his supposed constituents.

Mind boggling and who’s really buying his “logic?”

And where is this guy Laundrie anyway? Is he composting somewhere out in the boonies? Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.

No, by all means, there’s plenty. Help yourself!

Thanks.

The biochar is really delicious albeit a bit crunchy. Wash it down with lemonade and it cannot be beat.

Agreed, Rick. CDs are crisper and cleaner and all and all shinier but I like the rawness of an album better. smile

Try powdering it with a mortar and pestle and adding it to your yoghurt - it's got that fine sandy texture that balances out the smooth sliminess of curdled milk, and you just know it's whitening your teeth!
