My most favorite Johnny Cash song is Ring of Fire.
Lest Friday on Fresh Air, Terry Gross interviewed Ray Charles who did a cover of that song. Terry made-mention that the song was written by June Cash. Ray Charles was surprised to learn that, because he didn't know that. (Neither did I. )
