That's an excellent price. Does that include shipping? Yes. Right now, I'm paying bout $33.00 for the entire service for the week.(three days). Yes, much less expensive than fast food. I spend about $8.50 at Chipotle, or $13.50 at Hamburger Habit. You might be able to do that cheaper shopping yourself, and my local supermarket lets you pickup your order curbside with all weekly specials honored, and no extra charges. But it's WAY WAY cheaper than even the cheapest fast food. And the market doesn't let you buy two servings worth of many items. True, the benefit of having them make meals suggestions is the creative and already done-for-you aspect for of meal planning. Sounds like you will be having some nice lunches with the leftovers. During the week, I eat at the Corporate Deli. I was budgeting $10.00 per day for breakfast, snack, lunch, snack. It's a hot food buffet line esenetioally that is different every day. There is also a sandwich bar and a salad bar. It's charged by the weight. Non-protein plates are 0.28 per ounce. If the protein is chicken, the entire plate is 0.32 per ounce, and if the plate has beef, it is 0.36 per ounce. If the plate has seafood, it is usually 0.42 per ounce. Not bad. Jambalaya for example usually costs me $5.50 a plate. Breakfast is usually $2.50 a plate and lunch is typically $3.50 a plate.

One thing that I am surprised at is the meal service uses white rice for it's meals. Brown rice has more nutrients - but then again, it takes longer to cook and is probably the reason the meal kit people have chosen white rice. It appears they try to keep prep time to 10 mins and cooking to 30 mins.

At work we sit in "pods" or "cubes" - four desks per cube. During the non-vaxxed portion of COVID we were down to one desk per cube and most people were WFH (Work From Home). Corp insisted that the "Buying" team come in during the height of COVID and I.T. got to stay home and work remote. During the height of COVID pre-vaxx, we were not allowed to go to the Deli together. Anywhoo... Our tradition for Elevenses is the entire pod goes to the Deli together for breakfast, select their meal, wrap it tor "ToGo" and bring ti back to their desk and eat breakfast. The rest of the day, we are on our own.

Crap you just can't make up... So Trump thinks he's been "exonerated" from the Russia Investigation (he was not, Meuller found connection between the Trump Campaign and a dozen Russian government officials allowed Russia to assault the 2016 election process), so Trump is now telling DeathSantis to back-off from running for POTUS in 2024 because Fatboy Trump is going to do that. Some say the if Trump is in prison by then, AND still running for POTUS and gets elected - he can pardon himself. Don't laugh, this scenario is completely possible. Nobody thought he'd ever be POTUS - yet here we are! It's not like the DOJ is looking to hold him accountable for all he has done illegal, anyway.

I just have Kroger deliver all the ingredients I need to make 14 fabulous meals a week. Plus snacks both sweet and savory! Adult beverages too!
Cooking from a wheelchair changes your perspective a bit. I keep meals simple and nutrient-dense.
Elevenses is when I put my feet up for a couple hours so they don't swell. But here it is noon and I'm still at my desk...
Governor DeSantis is no threat to Donald Trump. He is second-choice only or possible VP material.
My take right now is that Trump is going to run again. Desantis has kowtowed to Trump and said he would not run...he's too busy f*cking up Florida to hell and gone and couldn't possibly take on another 49 states. Trump just said that when he enters the race, everyone else will drop out.
Folks have been telling me for 6 years now that Trump is going to jail soon. They've also been saying that Jesus is coming soon. You'll have to pardon me for taking both with a grain of salt.
Good coffee, good weed, and time on my hands...

Looks like it's time for decent folks to separate from AT&T. How AT&T helped build far-Right One America News by Reuters. OAN is Trump's propaganda machine. It puts Breitbart to shame. AT&T now owns HBO. No wonder Bill Maher has gone full DINO.

AT&Ts decision to fund OAN seems to be strictly for business reasons: Their cable and Direct TV offerings had only Fox News on the conservative side, but many more media channels on the reality-based side. If they had a channel crazier than Fox News, they might attract some of the rabid lunatics.
Nothing personal. Just business as usual.

Your daily reminder that Texas does not have a hotline to report a shooter walking into a school’s classroom, just for a woman driving into a Planned Parenthood parking lot.
