My response to that is yes indeed that is true and accurate… that Donald Trump seems to be immune to any sort of legal (even moral) retribution for his crimes against humanity. But what I wonder is, why is that so? Why is The Trump so impermeable, and so immune to the laws of nature..so to speak?
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

How can Donald Trump be held accountable when Republicans are flat-out lying about the 2020 Election? Republicans are hold-on to power, anti-democracy aholes who are very pathological and sick in the head!  Republicans do not bold well for the continuation of the United States of America.

On Wednesday night, I had dinner with a friend of mine from the Bay Area and her sister at Daniel's Broiler in South Lake Union. It has an awesome view. So the check comes and we're settling the financials and my friend Crystal's sister Debbi says to Crystal, I'll Venmo you my portion. I mentioned Matt Gaetz sending an underaged teen money for alleged sex and placing "Tuition" into the memo part of the transaction. Neither Crystal or Debbi knew who Matt Gaetz is!  Is this why America is the way it is right now? You have Repbulicans, Fox News, NewsMaxx, and OAN all lying about reality and then you have us decent folks trying to correct the record - with most Americans not even cluing in to what is happening around them? It's just getting to be way too much and I'm starting to feel defeated.

Tesla's Elon Musk will move his electric car company from Fremont, CA to Texas - you know, that state with the failing electric grid. Sounds like a doomed to fail business decision - the kind that Donald Trump would make.

...and speaking of Donald Trump businesses, his DC hotel has lost $70M since it opened in 2017. Too bad it's now much harder for Trump to grift from his political supporters to make-up for lost business revenue.

Rick, TBH, without a hint I’m not completely sure I could have told you who Matt Gaetz is either. I knew who he was (vaguely) when he hit the news but a) I don’t have the power to arrest, try, or sentence him, and b) I don’t see any real value in remembering the names of sex offenders.

Matt Gaetz is a pissant north Florida rich kid son of a state senator who represents an inconsequential rural district, except for his bad-boy antics, there is no reason anyone outside Florida would even know his name. And as bad boys go he's not even that bad...she was seventeen.
He was among the first to grab Trump's coattails and will be among the last to let go.

I know this sounds contradictory given my reaction to the priest thing, but this guy is a known entry, he’s had the spotlight turned on him, I assume he’ll face or has faced the law.

Another rich kid politician friend of his is under investigation and he is only involved because they hung out together. Gaetz has turned his image around and wants to be known as a family man from here on in, thank you. There will likely be no charges against Gaetz.
Really this is just a typical small-town republican assh*le who is well connected to the filthy rich Florida good ol boy network.
