Steve Bannon to Jeffrey Epstein: "You were the only person I was afraid of during the campaign."

Epstein: "As well you should have been."

How does monoclonal antibody therapy work?

Dr. Huang: Monoclonal antibody (mAb) therapy, also called monoclonal antibody infusion treatment, is a way of treating COVID-19. The goal of this therapy is to help prevent hospitalizations, reduce viral loads and lessen symptom severity.

This type of therapy relies on monoclonal antibodies. These are antibodies that are similar to the ones your body would naturally make in response to infection. However, monoclonal antibodies are mass-produced in a laboratory and are designed to recognize a specific component of this virus — the spike protein on its outer shell.

By targeting the spike protein, these specific antibodies interfere with the virus' ability to attach and gain entry into human cells. They give the immune system a leg up until it can mount its own response.

This therapy can be extremely effective, but it's not a replacement for vaccination. The community still needs to step up and get vaccinated to break the virus

How is monoclonal antibody therapy administered?

Dr. Huang: Monoclonal antibody therapy is given through intravenous (IV) infusion. These infusions are given in one of our outpatient infusion centers and require about an hour to administer, followed by an hour of observation and monitoring.

One possible side effect of monoclonal antibody therapy is an allergic reaction. These reactions typically only occur during infusion or soon after, and your care team will closely monitor for any signs of an allergic reaction. However, because an infusion reaction can also be delayed, contact your doctor immediately if you notice any of the following signs of an allergic reaction:

Fever and/or chills
Nausea
Headache
Shortness of breath
Low blood pressure
Wheezing
Swelling of lips, face or throat
Muscle aches
Hives or itchiness

When administered for preventive use, monoclonal antibody therapy can be given as a subcutaneous injection.

...and so it begins.

Laura Loomer ran an unsuccessful 2020 bid for Congress in Florida's 21st district. She is a Trump supporter. Now Loomer is pulling a page out of the Donald Trump handbook by claiming that she really won the 2020 election and that the election was stolen from her. (She did not win, and the election was not stolen).

Loggy, we both know that the Rightwingers we run into on these forums, don't have an IQ number higher than room temperature and they'll look you right in the eye and tell you a bald-faced lie. Or, they'll piss on your leg and tell you that it's raining. (That what is happening is not really happening.)

That's just your typical modern Rightwinger on the internet these days. Hmm

I just heard a radio host refer to someone as “one of my beloved conversation partners.”

What the hell is a “conversation partner?” Someone you talk to but don’t like enough to have coffee with? Someone you only know through online conversation but otherwise don’t really so “friend” doesn’t really apply?

What is a conversation partner, and why would such a person be “beloved?”

It can probably be taken two ways:

  • Someone who you like conversing with, but don't necessarily need to do it in person.
  • Euphemism for someone you really don't like conversing with. (ie. me and conservatives)

The "beloved" part might be pure snark?
Ex. " I think I'll go over to Gateway Pundit and see what my beloved conversation partners are up to..."

Hmm
