Propping up fossil fuel infrastructure while privatizing more public goods and services is right out of the Dem play book of copper stripping the house they inherited. ‘Asset recycling’ is what they’re calling it IIRC.
This generation of greed heads and pumps that control both parties have only known savaging the US labor force, using the government as buyer of last resort and asset stripping public goods/services.
Reserve throws 8 trillion into equity market in one year, no problem.
Spending less than a trillion on needs like dentures for old folks, sane prescription drugs prices.. let’s not get carried away. Let’s think of what’s possible.
