We'll see if they lock up or discharge the refusers...I'm with you as far as how ridiculous it is to refuse the vaccination. But Biden is nothing but a placeholder and will not be taken seriously by anyone who has taken that foolish political stance.

"Not taking Biden seriously" has very different consequences in civilian life versus in the military. The military doesn't ask new soldiers if they will take vaccinations. They tell them to stand in that goddam line, you maggots. "Opting out" gets you the stockade. And they get a whole lot of vaccinations that are far worse than Covid vaccinations.
What happens when Covid vaccinations get added to the list of mandatory vaccines to attend public school? Every public school district already has such a list. Why should the Covid vaccine be treated differently? I bet a lot of the anti-vaxxers will discover they can't afford private schools (who may have their own vaccination list) and opt for home school. And then get arrested for failing to home school in a legal manner.

You seem to have a real fetish about folks getting arrested. We already have more people in jail than any other country and it seems if you had your way almost everyone would be in jail.

You got to enforce liberty with an iron fist! Exaggeration, and I say that for a very good reason that PIA and a few others have referred to already: The military understands one language, the language of authority. Military rank and file are not the brains. They are the muscle, and muscle relies on "muscle" memory. The brains are at the top in The Pentagon, everything else is muscle and muscle memory and you talk to the military in muscular terms, and they listen in muscular terms. Get in line and get your shots you maggots or you're going to the stockade. Sir, yes sir. Enough of the political nonsense...there's nothing political about the vaccines and everyone actually knows this, everyone who is capable of shouldering real actual responsibility in a civilized society. (or, in this case, the military) And if they don't, then that's just a case of discovering who's been masquerading as fit to serve but actually isn't. And in the military that's just called being washed out...you get washed out because you couldn't or wouldn't pack the gear. And you get thrown in the stockade for insubordination or willful disobedience to a direct order. 👉This isn't me talking, 👆 it's my Navy veteran wife. And she's been saying it ever since the whole subject of "Military and vaccines" first came up.

I learned, in my brief dalliance with the U.S. Navy, there were just five responses that covered anything a superior might say to you: Yes, Sir! No, Sir! Aye, aye, Sir! No excuse, Sir! I'll find out, Sir!

You seem to have a real fetish about folks getting arrested. Nope, that's not it at all. I agree that there are way more people in jail than should be. But I do believe that people who break the law and harm others, should have some accountability. Not so much for punishment, but rather so they stop doing that. I think if you say anything goes because it's political or religious, then those people just keep doing that crap, and their fellow travelers do worse. This kind of thing actually gets innocent people killed! IE: Charlottesville. If I was in charge, I would review every drug-related conviction to see if the convicted did anything to harm other people, and let a whole lot of them go. I would look at all the cases where the incarceration did more harm than the crime, and act accordingly. I would find all the mentally ill prisoners, and move them to medical facilities where they could get real treatment. I actually have a much bigger problem with rich or powerful people, or people in positions of authority, doing illegal things because they can get away with it, than with most of the folks who actually do wind up in the legal system.
