Greger, sometimes I think you're a mind reader. I keep telling folks, as far as independents go, Trump is ancient history. No longer in charge, no longer president. No longer relevant. At least to independents. They don't give an cow's moo about him anymore.
Look at Virginia, McAuliffe, Trump, Trump, Trump. Youngkin, issue, issue, issue. enough said.Youngkin won in a blue state and NJ almost turned red even with a million more democrats than republicans.
Yes, what ailes the Democrats and Biden isn't the BBB or any other legislation. It's supply and demand, rising prices and seeing some empty shelves. Stances on issues and even passing legislation doesn' t mean that much if you're a non-affiliate who has to pay a buck fifty more for a gallon of gas or a dollar more for a loaf of bread, etc. etc. etc. This gets noticed.
1-6 hearsing or the BBB doesn't get noticed or they take a back seat. Perhaps are even placed in the trunk while all eyes are on the wallet. To quote Bill Clinton, one of my favorite presidents I never voted for, "It's the economy, Stupid."
