Biden has three years. That's a lot of time and there's just as good a chance that everything improves for the better over the next couple years and a divided congress might actually get some small things accomplished. That's really all Americans want...a few small things accomplished that don't inadvertently wreck the economy.

The Democratic Party needs fresh new faces...but Harris and Butiigieg aren't two of those faces.

Good coffee, good weed, and time on my hands...

Ah, that brings me back to my favorite, Tammy Duckworth. I agree, Pelosi needs to be replaced. But it's hard to replace someone who brings in the most money congressional wise. Here's the favorable rating for not only Biden, Harris, but congressional as well.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/other/FavorabilityRatingsPoliticalLeaders.html

Pelosi and McConnell are two of the most despised congressional leaders I've seen in a long time. But in reality, the only one's that count as far as favorable/unfavorable are the folks in Pelosi's district the the people of Kentucky. What the rest of us think about them is irrelevant. We can't send them anywhere.

Image wise though, a remake at the top would be advisable. Although it probably wouldn't make a difference, election wise. Here's presidential approval rating and the results in the house and senate for their first midterm.

Presidential approval Nov at the first midterm.
2022 Biden??????????????????????????????????????
2018 Trump 40% lost 44 house seats, gained 2 senate seats
2010 Obama 44% lost 63 house seats, lost 6 senate seats
2002 G.W. Bush 63% gained 8 seats, gained 1 senate seat
1994 Bill Clinton 40% lost 54 house seats, lost 9 senate seats
1990 G.H.W. Bush 60% lost 6 house seats, lost 1 senate seat
1982 Reagan 43% lost 25 house seats, gained 1 senate seat
1978 Carter 49% lost 15 house seats, lost 3 senate seats
1970 Nixon 58% lost 12 house seats, gained 2 senate seats

Kind of a mixed bag. At least a good approval rating for the president keeps midterm loses down.

It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.
