SCOTUS reversed themselves on Dred Scott as well. When Barrett and Kavenaugh both stated that Roe “is settled law" during each of their confirmation hearings, they both knew that they were through their teeth. I will not label these two fine individuals as lying conniving sociopaths, as I don’t want raise the ire of their and conservative supporters. But, if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck - it’s duck. I’ll leave it at that.
