So anyway I thought I would insert this little joke from a long while ago that we heard growing up in Hawaii. Today is December 7th which for anyone who was born and raised there is a date that is totally burned into our brains. Way more so than 9-11 but I’m talking about my generation… “people try to put us downâ€
No, that is not it. Here it is, And I warn you it is not PC by today’s standards although I still find it to be humorous.
Two sailors were standing aboard a battleship in Pearl Harbor the morning of December 7. It was a cool morning by Hawaiian standards and it was still early as the sun was just rising…..in more ways than one. One sailor said to the other….
