Why do we call a car a car...a bus a bus, why do we use the words we use? Can we just make up new ones for the ones we don't like?
What word should we use...? Shall socialism henceforth be known as Purple Barneyism and everyone will think it's cute and not hate it?
Shall the word "social" be stricken from the language?
But capitalism is entirely okay because it has brought us global warming, rising seas, and everything you see in the political divide. Every single thing you complain about is the direct result of capitalist policy.

Socialism is anyplace they have socialized healthcare, strong labor unions, fair minimum wages, workplace safety standards...most of the free world to one degree or another...
