LOL .... LOL ....LOL I had to laugh. Nutty right wingers Owens and Greene started using the term just a few months ago. Neither one of these intellectual geniuses actually have the necessary accumulated number of brain cells to create the term on their own. They are both poseurs of the worse kind. The very optics of the Trump campaign stumbling all over Russians and a number of whom had direct connections to Russian intelligence or Putin, places a real concern on any respectable security organization to investigate. Had the FBI not investigated, I would have been first in line calling for the entire agency to be disbanded as incompetent for failure to investigate an ongoing security concern. So what is the hoax? Was it conspiracy or collusion? Mueller was unable to prove criminal conspiracy but he certainly provided enough evidence of unethical collusion. I have no idea what your prediction means, however, I predict the Trump organization has effectively laid the groundwork for an illegitimate political takeover in the 2024 if Trump should lose the electoral vote. How are you ok with that???

I am pretty sure every rational, somewhat educated person understands what socialism is. Yes indeed, but many wont admit to understanding it, as it would undermine their dogmatic ideological positions. Few actually understand the specific finer points of Georgistical Socialism  TAT

Interesting stuff. Lots of imaginitive ideas from that era getting floated. They hadn’t had TINA imposed everywhere yet. One thing, for me anyways, that really defines our times is how dull and unimaginative it is.
MMT has been interesting though. Once understood, it really highlights the congressional theater rational for why we can’t have nice things with Democrats or why tax breaks are always preferred for Republicans.

Not sure what your talking about. Does it have anything to do with the Dem bill to have the IRS monitoring bank accounts with transactions of $600 or more? I think it's been revised for 10k.

It's where the government owns everything and the elite keep all the money and the rest of us get exploited, right? I tried to explain it to jgw in another thread and it falls on deaf ears...Pero, thought it had something to do with something about WW2 that wasn't actually socialism... Those old enough to remember the USSR may not recall that most everything you knew about them was US propaganda. And most everything you know about Russia today is US propaganda. But the USSR and Russia weren't in any way socialist... So, no, Mr. Porter. Your average moderate democrat has no idea what socialism is because it would require them to shed their elitist right-wing notions of what's best for America. Capitalism, capitalism, capitalism. That is what is good for America and the WORLD!!!!!

Being I’m probably as dumb as the next person when it comes to the meaning of socialism as I just classified it as another political ideology or philosophy. So, I decided to look it up. I would wager folks my age equate socialism with the old USSR. As I stated before, I have no idea what the younger one’s associate socialism with. Below is the official dictionary definition.
