After the next election I am sure that there will be state legislatures that try to negate the votes of citizens. This, in turn, will create law suits and, at least one of those, will go to the supremes. I know, this makes no sense in the current reality but I believe that the supreme will put a stop to that rather quickly. If, on the other hand, the supremes uphold the a law that allows a state legislature to negate votes then the nation is done. Votes no longer count - end of America as we know it, etc.
Anyway, until the Supremes handle some of the more extreme, and self serving legislation of the states, I am holding my breath and hoping for the best.
